2020-03-11 Konglomerate Games, which recently received $10,000 of funding the Europe-wide Unloc Enterprise challenge sponsored by Verizon, is a company made up of students from Abertay University in Dundee. Their game, Archipelayo, has been designed around the Fizzyo Sensor, Konglomerate Games is a Dundee based video games company which specialises in developing healthcare games to improve lives. Their game, Achipelayo, is designed to be used as physiotherapy for children with Cystic Fibrosis. Konglomerate Games specialize in healthcare and other serious games. We first started out by working for our clients, Project Fizzyo, UCL, Great Ormond Street and Microsoft. We created a game to help children suffering from cystic fibrosis perform their regular Airway Clearance Technique physiotherapy. We at Konglomerate games are currently a team of 4 with a passion of making serious games. Our current project is based of our previous work on Project Fizzyo, an endeavor that seeks to Konglomerate Games. In October 2019, Konglomerate Games was founded. The four co-founders wanted to focus on their work with Project Fizzyo, as well as explore other opportunities within the rapidly evolving serious games space.
